We are currently expanding our ASC operations and seeking a motivated ASC Administrator to oversee and manage all aspects of the Surgery Center. The role involves providing leadership, direction, and administration to ensure the center achieves its objectives.

We are currently expanding our ASC operations and seeking a motivated ASC Administrator to oversee and manage all aspects of the Surgery Center. The role involves providing leadership, direction, and administration to ensure the center achieves its objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CP&S governing board to implement the center's mission and adapt to community needs.
- Develop strategic plans to support the center's goals and keep stakeholders informed about industry trends and challenges.
- Coordinate resolution of medical or administrative issues, ensuring high morale and effective communication among staff.
- Recommend policy positions and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Represent the center in relationships with health organizations, government agencies, and payers.
- Participate in the selection and training of management team members.
- Monitor activities to fulfill community needs for quality healthcare.
- Execute marketing and public relations initiatives.
- Manage the center's financial development and budget.
- Facilitate professional growth and development for staff.
- Allocate and organize resources to provide healthcare services efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
- Oversee credentialing, medical records, and compliance processes.
- Manage patient and staff complaints and grievances.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of healthcare planning and management principles.
- Proficiency in surgery center policies, procedures, and patient care.
- Familiarity with computer programs and applications.
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision-making.
- Analytical skills to assess situations accurately and take effective action.
- Capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Skill in preparing comprehensive reports.
- Physician recruitment and relationship management experience.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize in emergency situations.
- Experience with AAAHC, CMS, and TJC surveys preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in outpatient surgery, practice, or hospital setting.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to a typical intraoperative environment with proper safety protocols in place.
- Handling of electrical equipment and hazardous materials according to established procedures.
- The physical demands described herein represent essential functions of the job:
- Regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, and talk.
- Occasional sitting may be required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently, and more than 100 pounds with assistance. Utilization of lead apron weighing 10-15lbs.
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception required.
