Job Summary: 
 The role of the Regional Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple clinics in various communities to ensure maximized workflow and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The Regional Supervisor is expected to set the pace and tone of the clinics and lead by example for our CP&S Mission, Vision, Values, and our Pledge to patients.

Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

Personnel Management:
  • Ensures all offices in the region deliver the Company shared set of core values, mission and vision to employees and patients alike. Responsible for ensuring clinics in remote locations feel connected and included in the CP&S Family.
  • Provides direct management, support, and oversight to all Supervisors in the Central Region
  • Assists HR in setting hiring criteria and assists Supervisors in identifying positions that may need to be filled at a moment's notice, ensuring high-quality staffing decisions at all clinics.
  • Assists Supervisors in initiating hire, termination, promotion, and pay increase requests and provides pre-approval prior to supervisors presenting to HR.
  • Trains and oversees supervisors on payroll processing, expense reporting, etc. Provides leadership to supervisors as new processes are implemented.
  • Completes performance evaluations on Supervisors during the initial 90-day evaluation period and annually thereafter. Provides training, assistance, and support to Supervisors during performance evaluations at the Clinic level.
  • Assists with the selection of key performance criteria for each position to assess regularly.
  • Cross-trains supervisors and ensures they know how to perform all the duties of all clinic positions. Leads and directs mid-level and MD onboarding.
  • Mentors, advises, trains, delegates, inspects all subordinate work, and provides constant feedback.  
Operations Management:
  • Assists COO and Dir. of Clinical Operations in the selection of success metrics. Ensures supervisors are managing toward successful KPI achievement.
  • Intimately involved with periodic and annual strategic planning alongside COO, CBO Practice Admin, and Dir. of Clinical Ops
  • Ensures subordinates adhere to applicable Operating Procedures & Policies
  • Proactively reviews clinic scheduling and patient flow to ensure maximum efficiency and financial success. Overall responsibility for all provider templates and scheduling templates.
  • Proactively addresses areas of concern and seeks out new opportunities for success.
  • Supports Providers and helps to manage Provider relations in the Region.
  • Ensures supervisors manage supply and FF&E inventory appropriately. Understands each clinic's P&L budget and works with Supervisors to meet financial goals.
  • Collaborates with CBO Practice Administrator to perform routine Billing & Collections provider reviews and evaluates areas of improvement.
  • Meets regularly with Director of Clinic Ops and COO to report activities at the Regional level. Reports on regional ops periodically (alongside other Executive Level staff) directly to Majority owners.
Compliance:
  • Keeps abreast of latest developments and changes with PIP, HIPAA, OSHA, FMLA, ACA, and Indiana/Kentucky laws and regulations. First line communication with Supervisors prior to engagement of Human Resources.
  • Ensures patient records and communication are within HIPAA compliance
  • Committed to ensuring supervisors understand and are managing to Employee Handbook, rules and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Abilities and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare is required. Experience may include, however, may not be limited to Insurance, People & Operations Management, Scheduling, HIPAA Compliance.
  • Travel to each clinic within region a minimum of once per month. Maintains a presence at clinics as deemed necessary to provide oversight and ensure success.
  • Highly proficient with computers especially EMR Software, Meaningful Use, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High degree of multitasking between Computer, Telephone, Patients, MDs, MAs, Management, Paperwork, Scanning, and Faxing.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage high levels of stress and capable of making sound difficult decisions.
  • Very structured, organized, and consistent.
  • Proficient in critical thinking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Physicians.
  • Demonstrated customer service/service recovery skills.
OSHA Compliance, Legal Compliance, Human Resources
  • Must maintain active, valid Driver's License and state minimum vehicle insurance coverage at all times. These valid documents are required to be on file with Human Resources

Education:
  • College Degree, Certificate, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position will include sitting and standing with occasional light to medium lifting. An employee must meet these requirements to successfully perform the essential duties of this job. Reasonable accommodation will be made in accordance with ADA rules and regulations.
